Zen.

Last day of the rest of my life
I wish I would've known cause I didn't kiss my mama goodbye.

I didn't tell her that I loved her and how much I care,
Or thank my pops for all the talks and all the wisdom he shared.

Unaware, I just did what I always do everyday,
the same routine before I skate off to school.

But who knew that this day wasn't like the rest
Instead of taking a test I took two to the chest.

The Burka Band.

The Burka Band are the first girl group to come out of Afghanistan. In their debut single "Burka Blue", a hit in Germany, the band sing, play instruments and do choreographed dance routines like any other band.

But there is one big difference. They are all wearing the Afghan burka, the blue dress and veil that has come to symbolise oppression in the country. They wear their full body covering both to make a political statement and to protect themselves from zealots who would undoubtedly harm them if their identities were ever discovered.
